EdTech startup OneHive’s launch event with Ripple Wealth at St.
James’s Place, features leading partners and keynote speaker Lord

Investors and professionals from across the education, technology, sustainability, social impact
and investment sectors gathered at St James’s Place for the launch of OneHive, an EdTech
platform building an ecosystem of learning experiences. The launch took place at St. James’s
Place Lombard Street office, on the rooftop overlooking London and attracted 100 professionals
interested in supporting the business in its next growth stage, including the development of
hydrogen education with HydrogenHive.

OneHive Co-Founder and CEO, Rushab Shah, was joined by Sashe Annett, Founding Director
of the Northeast Hydrogen Alliance, to present the new initiative, HydrogenHive. According to
the Hydrogen Energy Association, 84% of employers in the hydrogen industry have noted a lack
of sufficient skills. OneHive offers opportunities for education and upskilling to enable the
industry to scale.

Chris Desai, Founder of the Vayuu Foundation, shared how OneHive’s work supports their
project Uocean 2050 by promoting connectivity in the sustainability space and enabling the
removal of black carbon from the oceans. OneHive’s mission is ‘bridging the gap between
education and potential’, and the launch featured real-world applications showing that mission
brought to life.

Keynote speaker, Dr Tony Sewell CBE, shared his experience of building Generating Genius, a
charity enabling BAME students to access STEM careers and the importance of the mission of
OneHive.

Other recent OneHive initiatives include launching a digital skills boot camp with Young Brent
Foundation, running a financial skills program in schools with Ripple Wealth and developing
government-backed R&D labs.
